SECONDOPIANO is a collection of rugs produced in collaboration with the company Ege carpets on exclusive designs by ZPSTUDIO.
The concept developed from the idea of transferring just a hint of a third dimension to the two-dimensional item.
The textured finish is obtained through the digital processing of photographs taken by the designers, where staircases are central to the scene. The images are then post-produced by overlapping several layers. The rugs measure 130 x 200 cm and are edged and finished with a slip-proof backing; they are produced by ink jets spraying onto a mixed wool and polyamide support (Highline 910).
